They went into the match under duress and skipper Riyan Parag was not a hundred percent fit to feature but nevertheless the side decided to go out and give it their all - evidence of their sheer fighting spirit. No time for RRs to relax, every match from hereon is a do-or-die and Sunrisers Hyderabad will provide one of RR's biggest challenges in the Eliminator at Mullanpur. The under-dogged, boycotted and questioned Riyan Parag-led RR has pieced together one of the grittiest and most unpredictable and obstinate teams in the Indian Premier League which undoubtedly belongs in the top bracket. Stadium Factor

The Mullanpur pitch will probably be a pure one where teams with the power to register high scores will come out on top. SRH could be eliminated by the half time mark if Abhishek Sharma gives them away in the powerplay. The RR bowling department, however, will not go down without a fight as Archer and Ravindra Bishnoi have picked up 11 wickets in both cases, besides the old hand Ravindra Jadeja. It's a bowling attack designed for just such an evening.

Conclusion

History is another thing that needs to be taken into account. SRH holds the lead in the record of head-to-head matchups with 13 victories to RR's nine in 22 series so far. Knockout is a sport of short memory, however.
